Tom Ford Sunglasses
Tom Ford is, as they say, the shizzle. The man designs menswear, shoes, men's and women's accessories, beauty products, fragrances, and sunglasses. Oh, and he also recently directed a movie (A Single Man) that has received critical acclaim. Tom Ford could probably go into designing exhaust manifolds and come out with something elegant and perfect. After starting his design career in Europe, he finally brought his well-honed skills as a designer back to his native America, where he has proceeded to continually wow customers and fashionistas (and fashionistos) and win award upon award for his designs.
So, what are Tom Ford sunglasses like? Seriously, need you ask? They're not only beautiful, bold, fashion-forward and yet classic, but they have great names, like Whitney, Jennifer, Pablo, and Dakota. The Whitney has been seen on the likes of Angelina Jolie and Gwen Stefani, the Jennifer has (appropriately) been seen on Jennifer Aniston, and the bold Anouk style has been photographed on Olivia Palermo, star of The City. Another great bold style for women is the Astrid, which you can get with black, dark tortoise, or a fabulous light tortoise frame.
Tom Ford's women's sunglasses are feminine not so much in the girly-girl sense, but more in a style-setter who knows a great thing when she sees it way. Many of his women's styles feature cutaway lenses at the sides, giving them a quiet way to stand out from the standard oversized shades that are so popular.
As for the guys, the only difficult thing will be choosing among so many terrific styles. The 007 aviator-style shades Ford designed for Daniel Craig as James Bond are just perfect, and they are only one of many great styles for men. From rectangular wraparounds to modified aviators to the testosterone-drenched Pablo, there's something for every guy's style, whatever his age. The deceptively simple Miguel is a rectangularized (don't try using that word in Scrabble) aviator that is available in several frame / lens color combinations. The Bachardy is a modified Wayfarer-inspired style with a slightly more preppy look.
And in keeping with Tom Ford's reputation for only selling well-made clothing and accessories, all Tom Ford sunglasses
are made to the highest of standards and naturally provide you with 100% protection from ultraviolet rays. While they certainly aren't the most inexpensive designer sunglasses, Tom Ford's designs are by no means the priciest either, and the designs are just so great that you know that your Tom Ford sunglasses are a solid investment in style that you'll wear happily for many years. Who knows? You might just look so fine that you'll attract your own horde of paparazzi.
